Our Company History...
A. C. Lewis Management, LLC, headquartered in Baton Rouge, currently manages seventeen properties totaling over 2,400 units in southeast Louisiana, including 197 newly constructed apartment homes in Lafayette.
Arthur C. Lewis, III, President of ACLM, has owned, managed, and built apartment communities since 1974. A. C. Lewis, Jr, Arthur’s father, was prominent in the construction and management of many well known apartment communities and hotels in the Baton Rouge area.
Arthur built on this empire after his father’s death with various partners, selling less profitable holdings and buying undervalued apartment communities for rehabilitation. As A. C. Lewis Management, the company has grown to include offering third party management services.
ACLM currently employs approximately 75 people in administration, management and maintenance positions. As members of the National Apartment Association, most managers have completed a Certified Apartment Manager course and Maintenance supervisors all have universal HVAC certification. Our people are a highly prized asset and are continually trained to keep up to date on the latest trends and legal developments in property management. |
